Case Management
Our Case Managers are nurses who facilitate services and act as liaisons between patients, families, caregivers, physicians, insurance companies and other healthcare providers.
Emergency Services
Emergency nurses provide care to more than 30,000 patients per year in a 24-hour, 16-bed Emergency Department. We also have a three-bed UrgentCare for minor injuries and illnesses. Our ER staff prides itself on a door-to-doctor average time of under 25 minutes or less and an excellent nurse-to-patient ratio, which has contributed to patient satisfaction scores in the high 90s for over three years.
Home Health Care
Our Home Care nurses provide a full range of health services for adults whether for acute or chronic illness or as a follow-up to hospital care including med/surg infusion, and wound/ostomy/continence.
Intermediate/Critical Care
Equipped with the best technology, the ICU/CCU consists of 19 intermediate and eight critical care beds. Intermediate Care is a stepdown/telemetry unit that cares for diversified diagnoses of cardiac, pulmonary and neurology patients. Focusing on providing quality healthcare, both Intermediate and Critical Care nurses are required to be ACLS certified to care for the acute and critically ill patient.
Medical Unit
This 31-bed unit offers medical care for a wide variety of acute care illnesses including, but not limited to, respiratory, cardiac and neurological conditions.
Obstetrics/Gynecology
At The Baby Place, nurses provide care for more than 400 deliveries each year. Our above-average nurse-to-patient ratio allows our nurses to shower our patients with personal attention in our totally renovated department. We also offer compassionate and personalized care for women's health during their post-operative stay.
Pediatrics
Our nine-bed pediatric unit allows our nurses to work closely with the physician to provide excellent care for children, while serving the emotional needs of their families.
ProHealth Medical Group
ProHealth Medical Group employs 19 physicians in 11 locations in the specialty areas of family practice, ear, nose & throat, internal medicine, occupational health, psychiatry, urology, pediatrics and cardiology.
Registry
As members of a centralized staffing team, registry nurses are required to work 24 hours in a four-week period while enjoying flexibility of scheduling and increased compensation.
Specialty Care
Additional opportunities in nursing include our Cardiac Cath Lab, quality and risk management, and Cardiac Rehabilitation.
Surgical Services
Our operating area includes five rooms, a gastrointestinal lab and cystoscopy suite for inpatient/outpatient services, along with a post-anesthesia care unit, and pre- and post-operative care. Surgical specialties include: general surgery, orthopedic, urology, gynecology and ENT.
 Surgical Unit
Our surgical nursing personnel deliver compassionate, patient-focused care in this 16-bed unit. Patients receive post-operative surgical care specifically for adults.
Student Nurse Intern
Nursing students have an opportunity to enhance education, increase clinical knowledge and participate in a hospital-based clinical experience. Students are eligible after completing one year of clinicals and can work up to graduation.
Educational & Professional Development
Nurses participate in individualized orientation, training and preceptorship, according to the nursing specialty or area. In addition, we offer continuing education and on-site training, as well as opportunities for professional growth, personal satisfaction, recognition and rewards. Our nurses also have the opportunity to participate in Unit Advisory Committees, where physicians and nurses work together to improve processes and governances in a particular unit.
