Pekin Hospital - Pharmacy

The nurses and CNAs are a dedicated team of workers who deliver outstanding care. Pekin Hospital is blessed to have such a good group of employees.

It was not my intention to deliver at Pekin Hospital - I was pre-registered at a Peoria hospital... but I was having strong contractions, an ice storm was starting, and my doctor was gone on vacation. I drove myself to Pekin Hospital since I live less than a mile away. I was treated so well that I decided to deliver there.

They were expecting me. I had gone to the doctor’s office and they suggested I go to the ER. They called to let them know I was coming and everything was already taken care of when I got there. I appreciate having a facility available when I need it.

My mother was a patient on 7 North for 10 days. I have nothing but the highest praise and gratitude to express for the care she received during her stay.

The supervisor was training another worker. They were both excellent and must have asked me if I was comfortable at least five times! It was a great experience.

Every time I pushed the nurse's button, my request was answered in a timely manner.

I was very pleased with my care. The charge nurse was very quick with the discharge papers. I appreciated that she knew I wanted to go home.

I was having heart pain and was seen immediately, then given an EKG. I think the treatment was thorough and good. Having a heart attack at 48 is shocking.

We were very pleased with the overall care our son received at Pekin Hospital. He had to spend the night for the first time ever in the hospital, and the staff was just wonderful to him. This proves that bigger isn’t always better. I would choose Pekin over any other hospital any day!

I couldn't have been cared for any better. You are just the right size, just the right distance from my home.

I would highly recommend Pekin Hospital to anyone. It’s clean, professional, kind and outgoing. You have a great staff. I’m proud to say I had my surgery at Pekin Hospital.
